When I wake up in the mornings my usual routine is to eat breakfast, get caught up in editing or run errands, work out, edit, and then do a photo shoot. It’s literally the same every day. I’ve been working harder this year than ever before and sometimes I get so caught up that I realize I need to take a break for a day and do a photo shoot that’s different and not like my usual work.
Every photographer needs their “creative release” and I knew this shoot would be perfect for that.
My idea behind this shoot was to create something that would have some say, “Why would she post this?” I wanted something darker, intimate, and raw and I knew Claire would be perfect for this, especially with the help of Jessica’s makeup and styling skills. My work is usually safe, colorful, bright. I love to mix that up.
