Stephanie was so amazing to work with throughout our entire engagement and wedding process! I knew before even getting engaged that I wanted her to photograph this part of our lives! Her talent and eye for photography is above anyone else I have seen and we were so lucky she was available for our date. She was professional, punctual, and easy to communicate with as we planned our different shoots and our very long wedding day.
I never had to worry about our photos looking awkward and posed and the way she hypes you up when you are in front of the camera makes you feel like a super model. We still get compliments all the time about how gorgeous our pictures turned out and I’m so thankful to have them to look back on for the rest of our lives. Choosing her to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! We can’t wait to use her talent in the future as more milestones and anniversaries come!

Everyone says that your big day, your wedding, will pass by in a blur. And to be sure, that’s true. But one of the great things about having a great photographer by your side, however, someone who’s got an eye for all of those small, intimate, most precious moments, is that you don’t have to worry about them getting lost. And that, precisely, honestly, is why we love Stephanie so much. At the end of the evening, as we pulled a few Tupperware containers out of the hot-cold bag and ate for the first time that night, we talked about dancing to our song in the gap between a storm, about seeing our siblings give their toasts, of saying I love you and I do. But for everything else, she had been there — and she’s the reason why we can look back with fondness on everything and not worry what passed us by in the blur.

When I began planning my wedding I started with my list of "must-haves". Seeing as though we were doing a quasi- elopement with a guest list of 30 people and a month after the engagement, my list was very short - a venue in Eureka Springs and Stephanie Parsley as my photographer. I literally planned my entire wedding (and wedding budget) around these two non-negotiable items! I have known about Stephanie's work since high school and the second I got engaged I knew she had to photograph us.
I always saw her photos as full of light and pictures that capture the warmth and authenticity in every person featured in them. Capturing the memory of my wedding in a way that reflected the emotion and beauty of the day, and that was true to the lived experience was my goal when hiring the photographer. I didn't want the photos to be a "picture perfect" representation of the day, but something that really took me back to the glow and breath of the moment. Photos that really felt like a part of the wedding and not an obligation to show others. She exceeded my expectations, which were obviously high. All of the photos were beautifully done and captured the intimate gathering perfectly.
The customer service experience was excellent as well. Her pricing is what you would expect for a photographer that produces high quality work and her travel cost was reasonable. She was able to make me, my husband, and our families (who all hate photos) extremely comfortably in front of the camera. I even have a photo of my Mom's genuine smile which is a true rarity. Stephanie was on-time and kind throughout the entire process as well as her partner Michael. Again, it felt like they were truly a part of the wedding. My wedding was loosely planned and largely played by ear on the day of and they were able to roll with the punches perfectly. When comparing my experience to friends - I knew I was lucky.
On your wedding day you really want to be as present in the moment as possible. There can be a whole lot of fuss around the event and good photos aren't excluded from the list of fuss. The best part about hiring Stephanie was my confidence in her art, professionalism, and what she can produce. As someone who deals with a lot of vendors and artists in my job - confidence is key. I couldn't recommend her services enough and I'm now trying to think of some other excuse to get my pictures taken by her!

My husband and I got married March of 2019. I knew when I saw Stephanie on Instagram I really wanted her to be our photographer! Her photos always looked so natural and never super posey. She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session which was our first time officially meeting her. I was nervous because I’m not very comfortable with taking professional photos, but she made sure that the experience was fun! I look back at our wedding pictures ever so often and just fall in love all over again. She was able to capture so many moments that I never knew were happening that day. Nothing short of impeccable and an actual dream come true! I’m sure many brides envision their big day, but I envisioned my photos. Before my search, I rarely saw bridal and wedding photos showing black and brown couples as beautiful as the top magazine spreads. When I did, they seemed either extremely forced and uncomfortable, or their skin significantly altered. Working with Stephanie eased my insecurities from the very first conversation. Before I even got engaged I knew that I wanted Stephanie to photograph our wedding. We were planning our wedding pretty quickly and I chose a date with her before I chose a date for any other vendors. The vibe of my wedding was like a vintage house party and I wanted it to be photographed with that vibe. So I sat down with Stephanie and explained and showed her inspiration images of what I wanted and we just clicked. She got what I was looking for and I was 100% confident that I chose the right person to photograph our big day.
When I say that she's the best, I really mean it! She brings such a happy vibe to your shoot (or wedding day), she is like your #1 hype-man during the shoot, she gives excellent direction (because let's be honest we're not all models). She's really experienced in the industry so she's helpful in regards to time management and keeping a flow. Plus, the edits and lighting she chooses are beautiful and really show her talent — like you see an image and know that it's Stephanie's. We could not have been happier with the way our rehearsal dinner and wedding photos turned out.

I can't say enough nice things about Stephanie. When planning my wedding the only thing I knew for sure that I wanted was for her to be my photographer. So much so, that I planned my date around her availability. She had photographed my surprise engagement and our official engagement pictures earlier that year and I knew she was the only person I would consider to do our wedding. You will walk away with the most magical photos you've ever seen. She is so sweet and will make you feel incredibly confident and relaxed. She's very experienced and professional.
