Lacey Rogers and I teamed up with the Joplin Creative Showroom, Sanctuary Clothing, DSTLD, Amarillo, and Haati Chi to bring something different other than a normal shoot. I really wanted to create this character in my head with Lacey that I felt when I saw these clothes and I knew it was going to be a new experience for us both.
After the song was picked out, I decided that I wanted Lacey’s character to be someone that was going insane. I picked a bare desert as the location to represent her mind and then she herself is representing what’s going on inside of her mind.
This entire thing was totally out of my comfort zone and something new to my brand because I have never done something like this before and video is still SO new to me… especially is 115 degree temperature in the middle of the desert.
I can’t wait to keep practicing this and seeing how much more I can learn!
Also, big shout out to GILBERT SOSA for editing this! I don’t know how he does it, but he made this entire video come to life.
