As a photographer, a lot of the times my main goal during a photo shoot is just helping you feel comfortable and at ease while I am still trying to take the photos that you love and expect. So when I have clients come to the shoot already feeling comfortable around me and in front of the camera, I get excited because then all of my energy can go into getting shots that are real and not posed. This session was so refreshing to me because it was exactly that. Kortney & Joey just wanted to explore together and I was secondary to everything else they were experiencing. That’s how I prefer it.
I love the connection these two have! Joey is one of the cutest kids I’ve ever seen.. I kept saying she looked like a doll and she just has so much personality! I’m so glad I got to photograph and document a little afternoon with them <3
